چکیده

Phosphorus (P) acts as one of the essential macronutrients and plays critical roles in regulating growth, development, yield formation capacity crop plants. Elucidating physiological molecular processes underlying plant P deprivation responses benefit cultivation with high use efficiency (PUE). In this study, we investigated P-associated agronomic traits well transcriptome profile under contrasting inorganic phosphorus (Pi) levels combined deficit irrigation, using two wheat cultivars contrasted by PUE (i.e., Shixin 828 sensitive Jimai 518). The deficient-P (DP) treatment decreased accumulative amounts, photosynthetic function, biomass plants at various growth stages reduced yields respect to sufficient-P (SP) condition. Although were comparable on SP, displayed better traits, more accumulation, higher than 518 DP, suggesting that enhanced uptake positively affects production, productivity conditions. A large quantity genes differential expression patterns, including 2948 upregulated 1844 downregulated, identified based RNA-seq analysis treated deprivation. These DE shown be associated biological process metabolic cellular etc.), components (cell body organelle function (binding catalytic activity), phytohormone signaling pathways. Transgene TaZFP1, a gene ZFP transcription factor family exhibited P-deprived plants, validated its role enhancing accumulation starvation adaptation Our results suggested response is modulation via modifying global level. sequencing transgene analyses dissected related cultivated Pi

Determination of QTLs Associated with Agronomic and Physiological Traits under Normal and Salinity Conditions in Barley

mapping the QTLs of agronomic and physiological traits, 149 double haploid (DH) lines from a cross between an Australian cultivar, Clipper (salt susceptible), and an Algerian landrace, Sahara3771 (salt tolerant), were evaluated under natural saline (Yazd Station, ECsoil=10-12.8 ds/m and ECwater= 9-10 ds/m) and normal (Karaj Station, ECsoil and ECwater ~2-2.5 ds/m) environments. There were remar...
